Today I walked and walked and walked and took a grand total of 6 photos. I didn't feel like I got my shot of the day but had a few I figured I could work with. That was until I finally decided to leave Green Cay and go back home. As I was walking out, I saw this little bird flitting around, and he was in such a unique group of bushes and hedges.
I set my camera for aperture priority because it was at the exit and in total shade. And then, there it was. My shot of the day.
So here's the moral of the story. On your way out from where ever your shooting, don't shut the camera down. Leave it on, don't put the lens cover on etc until you get to the car and put the camera in the trunk.
A short blog post but an important one.
